Welcome to my new home page on the web. Here you will find information about
my upcoming events (gigs, recordings, etc...) listen to some of
my tunes, and get in touch with me. Hello everyone, First off I'd like to welcome everyone to my new home on The FolkZone web site. Poke around, listen a little, and send me some e-mail. Recording news... So I've been writing new tunes in the last six months since the release of Storytelling. I've demo'd many of them at home (and you can hear two right here!!!), and plan on doing some more recording this spring. I've got enough for another full length CD, and will probably start working on that with tom eaton. In the mean time, we'll be digitally recording some of the gigs I have this spring , and those songs will probably see the light of day as 'bonus tracks' on the next CD. I'll post more info as things get closer... Recordings with others... I recently recorded with the Scharff Brothers on their cd "Both Points of View" (and did the design and layout for the cd cover / booklet). I've been working with Sarah Scharff quite a bit lately, she's the best! We recorded it in my ADAT based studio, mixed up at thomas eaton recording in Newburyport, and mastered it with Bill Farrar (who engineered and mastered my CD) at Soundworks in Watertown MA. I engineered, played fretless bass, guitar and drums(!) and I'm very proud of what we've done! Pick up your copy today! Recent shows... I've recently played at the club 'Carmen Verandas' in Bar Harbor ME, Java Jo's in Milton, the Colonial Inn in Concord MA, Cafe Soho in Cambridge and the Acton Jazz Cafe in Acton MA. I'm waiting for confirmation on a few dates, so I'll be out playing again shortly. Make sure you send me some e-mail so I can keep you updated!
