Biography

Since 1992 Gayle (Anderson) Gram and Bob Gram have been captivating audiences with a smooth natural style. Vocals often compared to Kate Wolf and Jim Croce and a Paul Simon-like guitar style blend beautifully to form a truly peaceful sound.

~

"While their music is soothing and smooth as silk, the underlying explosives make for dynamic experience: rich, fulfilling and generously endowed with sparkle and personality."

- Jeannine Schiavoni, Merrimack Valley Progressive

~

"Your music and rapport with the audience were just the magic we needed. The range in your selections offered enough to please everyone from our young teens to the seniors. Thanks again. We all thoroughly enjoyed the experience."

-Roberta LaMonica, Prosser Public Library, Bloomfield, CT

4. These Times We're Living In *
5. New Life
6. State Line
7. At Least
8. Circle In The Snow

"This down-home appealing wife-husband duo has the friendly feel of Reilly and Maloney and Kate Wolf as well as the somber melodicism of Linda Thompson. The performances flow naturally: the production is warm and on the dry side. "Trace of September" hooks you right away with its minor melancholy while Gram's "Down the Road" provides comedic relief. Gaye Anderson's mezzo soprano is resonant and appealing. Bob Gram provides wonderful harmony on many of these songs but solos with a rich baritone on several cuts. A Highly Recommended home-grown recording."

-Victory Music Review, Seattle, WA June 1997

"If this sounds like I¹m raving then I guess I am. We brought back 102 CD's from the Folk Alliance Convention. We have listened to every one of them, completely, and if I could keep one it would be Watercolors. From the moment it started it had my complete attention. The vocals are WONDERFUL, and the guitar is WONDERFUL. The harmonies are breathtaking as is the entire album. Your songwriting (and this comes from someone who writes) is most appealing and I just can't say enough about this CD."

-Julie Anne Clark, All Music Guide, March 1998

~

"Great songs, great sound and a very healthy sense of humor."

- Curt Bessette
